Embrace: A Motherhood Collective serves the Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) community in Metro Detroit. We create a safe community for BIPOC mothers to learn about their bodies, be informed about birth, birth safely, and receive postpartum care and support.

Our organization is founded by three dynamic moms/wives/doulas who value community, support natural healing practices, and who want to address the need for holistic support for birthing families. We work to build connections and resources throughout the Metro Detroit area to support BIPOC mothers and families.

NESTING PARTIES

Nest & Nibble's are hosted at the home of the expecting parents

as an opportunity for loved ones to lend a helping hand

with things that actually matter to the new parents.

As an alternative to having a baby shower, nesting parties

allow families to get what they need. Families benefit from

organizing, meal preparation, light cleaning, and postpartum planning.

Postpartum Doulas

Our team of qualified postpartum doulas are here to support you and your baby as you transition home. We offer a variety of services from meal prep, baby massages, watching your baby while you nap, and more. Our team is here to comfort and pamper you, because mama you deserve it.
